日式curry (Japanese style curry)

上次做了curry, 丈夫少有的說好吃,今次又試試以另一種調味來做做看,結果令我十分滿意,確是很好吃! 做法很簡單的。

材料:紅蘿白、薯仔(土豆)、香腸
調味料:curry塊、蘋果醋、洋甘菊茶

做法:先落油炒香紅蘿白、薯仔(土豆),再放香腸續炒。 其後倒入洋甘菊茶、蘋果醋及curry塊,煮到熟便成。

I like to make curry, it is easy to make with a few ingredients, and curry cubes.  This one is easy to make, and delicious.

Ingredients: carrots, potatoes, sausages
Seasoning: Japanese curry cubes, apple cider & chamomile tea

Methods: Heat some oil in the pan, and put into it carrots, potatoes.  Cook them until their fragrance comes out, then put the sausages into it, and continue to cook for a while.  After that, put into chamomile tea, apple cider, and curry cubes, and cook until they are done.  Serve it.

Italian style beef meatloaf with Japanese shrimp & steak sauce

Tonight's dinner is a very simple one.  Two items: store-bought meatloaf (uncooked) and a sauce.  It makes my life easier, and it is yummy.

Ingredients: store-bought uncooked beef meatloaf
Seasoning: Japanese shrimp & steak sauce

Methods: heat some oil in the pan, then put the beef meatloaf to it, and cook until it is done.  After that, put the shrimp & steak sauce on top of it.  Serve it.

生菜雞肝面

中午通常都是吃得很隨便,因為懶的關係,做出來的東西都是簡簡單單的 -- 今次做了生菜雞肝面。 想吃雞肝主要是因為要補血,且以形補形來說,可以補肝,一舉兩得。

材料:雞肝,生菜,及面
調味料:素食味粉及鹽

做法: 先煮好水(放些素食味粉,然後放入雞肝煮至八成熟,再放生菜及面。
最後落些鹽調味。

清淡得來又補血,頗好吃的!

beef with sundried tomato & olive spread

Sometimes, you get tired, and don't want to cook.  Why not make your life easier, by using store bought stuff.  It can save your life.  In Chinese, before you pan fry your beef, you need to marinate it with a few items.  To save this step, I made a dish that use a store bought sundried tomato & olive spread.  It tastes great.

Ingredients: sliced beef, sundried tomato & olive spread
Seasoning: a pinch of salt

Method: heat the oil in the pan, and then put the sundried tomato & olive spread to it, stir for a while. After that, put the sliced beef into it, and cook until it is done.  You can put a pinch of salt as seasoning.  Serve it.

mushroom shrimps salad

Do you want a light lunch?  A mushroom shrimps salad may be light enough, yet can fill your stomach.  It is easy to make, yet taste great!!!

Ingredients: fresh mushroom, cooked shrimps, and sauerkraut
Method: heat some oil in the pan, cook mushrooms for a few minutes, then put sauerkraut to cook for another few minutes.  Lastly, put the shrimps into it, and toss until the shrimps are warm.  Serve it.

Steam buffalo wings with ground chicken breast

Buffalo wings are tasty and spicy.  I seldom bake/broil them, as it is too "hot" for me; instead, I like to steam.  It makes the wings light yet tasty, and it is not as spicy as baking/broiling.  What about the juice?  Won't it be better if the underneath ground chicken breast can absorb it?  I try to make good use of every bit, so that nothing will be wasted.

Ingredients: Buffalo wings, and ground chicken breast
Seasonings: salt, and pepper

Method: Marinate the ground chicken breast with salt and pepper.  Then put those buffalo wings on top of the marinated ground chicken breast.  Steam until it is done.  Serve it.

淮山牛骨湯

一般人用淮山煮湯都會選用豬肉,但其實用牛骨的話,味道會更清甜。 我以前喜用豬肉煮湯,但卻令我痰多起來,多吃牛肉身體反而好了,而且牛肉能補中益氣,令人好面色。

材料: 淮山、牛⻣
調味料:鹽
方法:先放入淮山,連水一起煮沸,然後放入牛骨,續煮1小時便可。
